McGough came out to the 2024 Kohl's Fall Ranking Event in Texas. He competed well as both a kicker and a punter. McGough scored 10 points on field goals and showed smooth and confident mechanics throughout camp. McGough also competed as a punter and graded out as a 4.5-star punter. He scored 99.39 points on punt charting with a big ball of 53 yards with 4.37 seconds of hang time. McGough's potential as a combo athlete is very high. McGough recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. He had good command of the football throughout the event, slotting 6 points on the field goal session. He flashed his big leg when he sent his standout ball a distance of 75 yards with a hang time of 3.54 seconds during the kickoff charting. McGough also competed at the 2023 Kohl's Scholarship Showcase. McGough scored 15 points on the field goal charting. During the kickoff charting, he achieved an overall score of 100.00. He showcased his leg power with his big ball measuring 68 yards with a hang time of 3.47 seconds. McGough competed at the 2023 March Ranking Event. He graded out at the 4.5 star level as a kicker. His highlight was scoring 111.6 points on kick-offs and scoring 8 points on field goals. McGough competed at the 2023 UC Challenge. He is a talented ball striker who commands his body well through contact. He charted 6 points in the field goal charting and was able to demonstrate refinement in his ball striking during the film and competition portion of camp. His biggest charted kick-off at camp was 67 yards with 3.65 seconds of hang time. He is an exciting prospect to keep your eye on going into the next year!
