Mathis had his best showing thus far at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed good refinement with his ball striking and he commanded his "A" ball well on field goals. He scored 24 points overall in the field goal charting. He produced a score of 102.02 which includes a big ball of 66 yards with 3.90 seconds of hang time. He flashed excellent potential in the punting where he connected with several impressive punts including a big ball of 44 yards with 4.29 seconds of hang time. His overall score on punts was 91.93. Mathis attended the 2024 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in May. He performed well and continued to show improvement. Mathis scored 11 points on field goals, 105.10 points on kickoffs, 95.68 points on punts, and 5 points on roll-out charting. His best kickoff was a 67-yard kickoff with 3.84 seconds of hang time. Mathis showcased consistent ball striking at camp. His best punt was a 47-yard punt was 4.42 seconds of hang time.
