Gentile recently competed at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He achieved an overall punt score of 87.60, connecting with his big ball that measured 43 yards and had a hang time of 4.16 seconds. With continued development, he has the potential to excel over the next two seasons. Gentile came out to the 2024 Kohl's Midwest Showcase Camp in May. He graded out as a 4-star punter at his first ranking event and had a good day punting the football. Gentile scored 92.46 points on punt charting with a big ball of 46 yards and 3.46 seconds of hang time. Gentile's distance was consistent as he connected on multiple punts of 41 yards or more. Continued refinements in his drop placement and weight training will assist Gentile's growth over the next two seasons.
