Kohl's Comments

Ostboe recently competed at the 2024 Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp. Here he showed good body awareness throughout the event. He put up 11 points on the field goal charting. During the kickoff charting, Ostboe ended with an overall score of 84.05. He sent his big ball a distance of 53 yards with a hang time of 3.31 seconds. He should be up for a big upcoming season. Ostboe competed at the 2024 Kohl's Texas Spring Showcase Camp in May. He scored 3 points on field goals and 86.25 points on kickoffs. After some technical adjustments during drill work, Ostboe hit some clean kicks later in the afternoon. Efforts focused on technique will help Ostboe grow over the next few seasons. Ostboe came out to the 2024 Kohl's Future Stars camp in January. He scored 2 points on field goals, and was able to adjust on the fly after some film breakdown. He connected well on some reps in the second half of camp. Ostobe scored 91.35 on kickoffs with a big ball of 62 yards with 3.17 seconds of hang time. Continued focus on leg strength and speed mixed with repeatability will elevate Ostboe's abilities to a new level. Ostboe recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. During the kickoff charting Ostboe ended with an overall score of 95.60. He showed his leg strength with some good pop on his "A" ball which measured out to a distance of 67 yards with a 3.11 second hang time. Ostboe has good leg strength for a young athlete, he should continue to work on his ball striking consistency as he moves into his next two seasons.
