Kohl's Comments

Brewer showed strong improvements while attending the 2021 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He scored 23 points in the field goal charting, while adding in an impressive big ball in kickoffs of 67 yards with a 3.74 second hang time. He also had several punts over 45+ yards. Brewer has all the makings of a strong collegiate combo prospect! Brewer had another strong showing at the 2021 Kohl's Midwest Spring Showcase. He was impressive on field goals both in charting and drill work. He scored 12 points in the field goal charting and was able to hit clean footballs off the ground all camp. He charted a big ball of 69 yards with 3.03 seconds of hang time. He is making improvements in his punting technique and is continuing to develop as a punter.

Athlete Bio

Samuel Brewer is interested in studying chemistry and kicking for any level of college football. His proudest moment kicking is a game against regional rival Merrillville where he scored three field goals, one in overtime, to keep his team competitive against one of the top teams in the state. Samuel is the sports editor of the high school paper, and he is one of the top students in his class, currently on a path to graduate summa cum laude. He has also played club soccer as a goalie at the Academy level, and his club team is consistently one of the top teams in Indiana.
