    Payne competed at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He earned a 4-star rating at his first ranking event. Payne scored 16 points on field goal charting. He gets great "pop" on his clean kicks. Payne scored 92.78 points on kickoff charting. His best kickoff traveled 65 yards with 3.19 seconds of hang time. Continued efforts on weight training will aid in Payne's growth over the next two seasons.
