Kohl's Kicking National Player of the Week
The Kohl's staff wants to recognize Kohl's kicking, punting, and long snapping prospects across the country for their outstanding performances each week during the 2024-2025 high school football season.
Kohl's Comments
Wilson recently competed at the 2024 Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp, where he demonstrated solid performance throughout the event for it being his first ranking event. He earned a score of 13 points on the field goal charting. In the kickoff portion, Wilson achieved an overall score of 80.65. His punting skills were highlighted by an overall punt score of 66.80, along with a rolling punt score of 6.0. Wilson has set himself up for a good upcoming season!Athlete Bio
A lifelong Platte County Pirate, Sterling is a dedicated kicker and punter entering his sophomore year at Platte County High School in Platte City, Missouri. Balancing his athletic pursuits with academic excellence, he maintains an impressive 4.27 GPA while challenging himself with honors coursework. Beyond the football field, Sterling is actively involved in his community. He serves as a member of STUCO, is a dedicated youth group volunteer, and spearheaded a successful three-year fundraiser for STEM projects at the district's middle school, raising nearly $7,000. His commitment to service extends to the family's annual Christmas Lights Show benefiting The Hudson Project.
