Long competed at the 2025 Kohl's Future Stars Camp. He showcased his kicking skills by making five field goals and charting a 95.55 kickoff score, with his best kickoff ball traveling 64 yards and 3.21 seconds of hang time. As a punter, he scored 90.23 and connected on a standout punt of 40 yards with an impressive 4.34 seconds of hang time. Long demonstrated strong dual-threat abilities, and with continued development, he has the potential to take his game to the next level. Long came out to the 2024 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in December. He performed well and improved his rating as both a kicker and punter. Long scored 6 points on field goals, 90.30 points on kickoffs, and 95.53 points on punt charting. His best kickoff was a 60-yard ball with 3.11 seconds of hang time. His best punt was a 48-yard punt with 4.19 seconds of hang time. Long charted multiple punts of 40 yards or more. Continued hard work on his technique will keep Long on this upward trajectory. Long recently competed at the 2024 Kohl's Future Stars Invitational. He scored 1 point in the field goal charting. He worked hard on his technique during the drill work portion of camp and he showed improved command of his "A ball during drill work. His biggest charted kickoff at camp was 58 yards with 2.94 seconds of hang time. He has solid leg speed for a younger athelte and with continued focus on his technique the next two years, should be in a great place to see improvement in his overall ability. Long competed at the 2023 Kohl’s Southern Winter Showcase. Here he had 1 point on the field goal session. During the kickoff charting, his big ball measured a distance of 56 yards with a hang time of 3.06 seconds. Long should focus on his ball striking consistency as he looks to take that next step in his development as a specialist.
