Friedrichs competed at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He earned another half-star as a punter after a good performance. Friedrichs scored 15 points on field goals, 94.68 on kickoffs, and 93.80 on punts. His best kickoff was a 61-yard ball with 3.65 seconds of hang time. Friedrichs had a big punt of 41 yards with 4.32 seconds of hang time. Friedrichs has improved his drop consistency as he connected on multiple punts of 40 yards or more. Friedrichs recently attended the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed improved leg strength and was more controlled with his ball/foot contact on his field goals. He scored 14 points in the combined field goal charting and connected with a big ball of 61 yards with 3.68 second of hang time. His tempo was consistent through his punting approach, and he charted with confidence. He connected with a big ball 33 yards with 3.88 seconds of hang time. Friedrichs competed at the 2023 Kohl's Midwest Spring Showcase Camp. He showed excellent potential throughout the event and flashed an explosive leg at the camp. He connected with a big ball of 65 yards with 3.31 seconds of hang time. He scored 2 points in the field goal charting and with some slight improvements with his technique will really start to realize his true potential. He flashed potential in the punting as well and was able to connect with a big ball of 31 yards with 4.24 seconds of hang time.
