Kohl's Comments

Leo recently attended the 2018 Senior Challenge in Orlando, Florida. He won the punt competition at camp with some impressive punts and also showed that he has the leg strength to compete at the next level on kick off's. He has long levers and his coordination is improving. He catches the ball well and uses his levers to create solid punts. He showed high level field goal ability at the Showcase Camps as well. He has all the skills needed to be a college level combo prospect.

Athlete Bio

Thomas is a 6'-4" 205 pound Punter/Kicker out of Clermont Florida. Thomas is currently enrolled at East Ridge High School taking honors classes and is dually enrolled at Lake Sumter Community College. His goal is to contribute to the success of a competitive NCAA FBS Program while earning a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences. Ultimately, Thomas plans on becoming a Professional Athlete or Physicians Assistant.

Thomas finished 2017 High School Season with 42 Points (Rank 4th Leading Scorer on his Team)

At the Kohl's Midwest Showcase (12/9/17), Thomas finished the KO Competition in 2nd Place (over 200 athletes) with a 68 yard KO (3.9 second hang time)

At the Kohl's Southern Showcase (12/17/17), Thomas charted 3rd among 2018 graduates in KO's averaging 60.50 yards (3.91 second hang time). In punts he charted in 5th place among 2018 graduates averaging 38.0 yards (4.12 second hang time). Weather at this event was 42 degrees and raining.

Thomas named DC Sports (Leesburg) 2018 All Area First Team Place Kicker.

Among 2018 Player at the Fall 2017 Kornblue Kicking and Snapping Showcase (12/30/17), Thomas finished in second place in both kicking (Field Goals + Kickoffs) and Punting.

Thomas name 2017 East Ridge High School Player of the Year.
