Kohl's Comments

Henne competed at the 2021 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp where showed strong improvements from his most recent camp. His technique is so smooth and translates well through his charting, hitting several of his punts over 40+ yards with great ball rotation. Henne has proved that he will be an asset for any program looking to add consistency to their punter position! Henne recently attended Kohl's National Scholarship Camp in July of 2020 and a Winter 2021 Showcase. He had a strong showing as was one of the better punting prospects at the event. In June he scored a 105.43 in the punting session. He has an excellent frame and moves well with his 6'4" levers. He catches and molds the ball well, keeping the ball extended on his drop will be key for his continued development as a punter. Henne is a great college prospect who needs to have a big next 6-12 months!

Athlete Bio

Will is a multi-sport athlete at Ponte Vedra High School. In addition to varsity football (quarterback, placekicker, punter), Will started at keeper for the award-winning PVHS JV soccer team (2019), he played power forward on the JV basketball team (2019-2020), and currently plays PF/C for the Varsity team (2020-2021). Will missed most of his sophomore football season due to injury. Undeterred, he attended practices and served as one of the varsity's in-game signal callers. Fully recovered, he is adding strength and flexibility to his 6' 5”/200 lb frame via weightlifting, Pilates and agility training. For skills development, he is working privately with both a QB coach and the NE Florida Kohl's coach in preparation for the 2020 season.

A huge aviation and history buff, Will is a leader within the 2022 PVHS Class. Will tested in the 95% percentile on his SAT with a 1400. He is taking an honors curriculum with multiple AP courses, and has passed all AP exams. He will have 9 AP classes by graduation. He coaches a local U13 YMCA youth basketball team and is active in other civic/service areas. Will is an avid fisherman. He started and ran youth summer fishing camps, and this year Will co-chartered the PVHS Fishing Club.
