    Birdwell recently competed at the 2019 National Scholarship Camp. He showed his leg strength and improvement in his command during the charting of field goals and kickoffs. His big ball on kickoff at camp was a 67 yard 3.63 second ball and he was able to score 18 points in the field goal charting at camp. He has the tools and talent to become a very good kicker and with improved command of his "A" ball will get there. Birdwell attended the Texas Showcase Camp in May of 2019. He had impressive charting sessions at camp with 8 points on field goals and his "A" ball on kick offs was a 62 yard 3.44 second hit. He has very good potential as a kicker and is close to moving up in the Kohl's rankings. .
