Ford attended the 2017 Southern Spring Showcase. He showed solid refinement in his technique on field goals by making 5 in the charting. He averaged nearly 58 yards per kick off and showed sound technique in his ball striking and consistency in his kickoff approach. He can continue to focus in on his leg strength improvement and focus on staying straight through contact during field goals.
