Kohl's Comments

Schmit had an excellent showing at the 2018 National Scholarship Camp. His refinement on his field goals is impressive. He creates a consistent leg swing and generates impressive rotation on his kicks. He scored 25 points during charting and his big ball on kickoffs was 79 yards with 3.79 seconds of hang time. One of the more impressive kickers in his class, slightly more control of his hips will help him improve the field goal accuracy even more. Schmit attended the 2018 Texas Spring Showcase. He had excellent drill work and displayed a huge leg during the charting portion of camp.
