Currin came out to the 2024 Kohl's Fall Ranking Event in Texas. He had another solid showing as a punter, posting a score of 99.12 in punt charting. His drop table and leg speed have improved over the last few months. 7 of Currin's 10 charted punts traveled 42 yards or more. Currin scored 4 points on field goals and 88.25 points on kickoff charting. Currin's abilities are more suited as a punter. However, a focus on ball striking will help grow his field goal and kickoff abilities. Currin has an opportunity to grow into an exciting combo prospect. Currin recently attended the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He flashed above average leg speed in his punt charting and connected with some impressive "A" balls. His overall score was 90.54 which includes a big ball of 46 yards with 4.56 seconds of hang time. Working on speeding up his operation will be key for him to continue to make progress with his punting ability. Currin attended the 2024 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in May. He earned another half-star at camp and scored 2 points on field goals. He was able to connect on a few nice reps during drill work and is very coachable. Currin scored 93.00 points on kickoff charting with a big ball of 60 yards with 3.30 seconds of hang time. Currin's leg strength has improved over the last 6 months.
