Picatoste competed at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He earned another half-star after a good performance. Picatoste scored 17 points on field goal charting and 89.40 points on kickoff charting. His field goal technique has improved over the last few months. He gets great lift on his clean kicks. Picatoste's best kickoff was a 59-yard kickoff with 3.46 seconds of hang time. Continued efforts on weight training and repeatability will contribute to Picatoste's growth over the next few seasons. Picatoste came out to the 2024 Kohl's Future Stars event in January. He scored 2 points on field goal charting and was able to connect nicely on some kicks after film breakdown. He kicked off well and showed improvement in leg speed, scoring 89.85 points. Picatoste's big ball traveled 58 yards with 3.28 seconds of hang time. He scored 77.14 points on punts, with a big ball of 42 yards and 3.84 seconds of hang time. Picatoste shows potential punting the football when his drop table is consistent. Picatoste recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's Southern Showcase in December. It was his first ranking event. He scored 5 points on field goals, and had clean ball rotation on his "A" ball. Picatoste scored 84.80 points on kickoffs with a big ball of 55 yards with 3.18 seconds of hang time. He has good pace on his run-up. Picatoste connected nicely on a few punts during charting, posting a score of 88.73. His big ball was a 45-yard punt with 4.00 seconds of hang time. Continued attention to his drop table and kicking mechanics will elevate Picatoste's game in the coming years.
