Kohl's Kicking National Player of the Week
The Kohl's staff wants to recognize Kohl's kicking, punting, and long snapping prospects across the country for their outstanding performances each week during the 2024-2025 high school football season.
We only evaluate campers that we have personally seen at a Kohl's camp. In order to assure yourself a ranking you must attend a Kohl's Showcase camp or the Scholarship camp.
When ranking we ask the question, "If there was a college game today, is this athlete ready to help a college team win?". We look at the camp charts and take into account the different conditions at each camp. We also look strongly at how an athlete performs in drill work when they know they are being evaluated and graded. We see how they handle pressure and react in the camp competitions. We see certain athletes multiple times a year and try to grade them on their average performance.
There will be over 300 Kohl's high school seniors playing college football next season. There are many good prospects at the 4.0 and 4.5 star levels that will start in college in the future.

Carlson is a superior athlete that will be a good D1 specialist just like his older brother Daniel. Daniel is an NFL prospect and Anders is just as athletic at this point in his development. Anders has attended multiple Kohl's events over the years. In May and July of 2016 he proved he is going to be special by hitting multiple 85-yard kickoffs and showing improvement in his field goal consistency. He made 9-of-10 field goals in the charting phase of camp in May and had an outstanding showing on field goals in July. His consistency has improved and he was a weapon for his high school team last season. Carlson can also punt and with his 6'4 frame he has huge upside as a kicker or punter. He earned a spot to the Under Armour All-American Game in January of 2017. |

Haubeil is a very talented field goal Kicker. The lift on his kicks are college ready right now. He has competed at multiple Kohl's events in 2016 and shown he is a trustworthy kicker. He has been ahead of his age ever since he came to his first Kohl's camp and won the Eastern Showcase as a sophomore. In May of 2016 he made 9-of-10 field goals in the charting phase of camp and was dominant in the drill work and competition phase. His field goal range was 5-10 yards longer than everyone else at that camp. Haubeil does need to continue to work on transferring his energy better on kickoffs but there is no reason to believe he can't go into Ohio State as a freshman and compete on FG. |

His kickoffs are consistently between 65-75 yards with around four seconds of hang-time. His ball jumps fast enough to "wow" college coaches but his best attribute is his consistency and ability to make kicks. He does punt but he will kick in college. Tanguay
has been to multiple Kohl's events over the years and is a D1 talent. He
shows flashes of being a top end prospect. He can do all three FG/KO/P but
after watching him for three years it seems like he does better when focusing
on either kicking or punting. Tanguay's work ethic is strong and his leg
speed has gotten to the point the ball jumps off his foot with great force!
Tanguay has the talent to do some great things in the future. |

Larsh
recently attended the 2016 NSC. He has made significant improvements with his
ball striking and confidence in his FG's. He charted exceptionally well in
FG's by scoring 27. His KO's are holding him back right now, not because of
leg strength but more so contact. He is hitting the ball thin and pushing it
to the right. His punting is coming around as well, keeping the ball inline
and working up and thru(vertically) should help him hit with more
consistency. Larsh most recently attended the 2016 Midwest Spring Showcase
Camp. He has improved his leg strength and the ball jumps off his foot.
Hitting a cleaner rotation on his KO's will help him hit his "A"
ball more often. Punting shows flashes of his true potential, he does need to
continue to work on kicking up and thru the football rather than swiping side
to side on contact. Larsh was in attendance at multiple Kohl's events. |

the ground and add some yardage on his KO's. Usry has an ability to focus and
make FG's under pressure. He should be very successful at the collegiate
