1. 2020 National kicker Ratings

We only evaluate campers that we have personally seen at a Kohl's camp. In order to assure yourself a ranking you must attend a Kohl's Showcase camp or the Scholarship camp.

When ranking we ask the question, "If there was a college game today, is this athlete ready to help a college team win?". We look at the camp charts and take into account the different conditions at each camp. We also look strongly at how an athlete performs in drill work when they know they are being evaluated and graded. We see how they handle pressure and react in the camp competitions. We see certain athletes multiple times a year and try to grade them on their average performance.

Kohl's sees more athletes than anyone else in America at our 135 events.

There will be over 300 Kohl's high school seniors playing college football next season. There are many good prospects at the 4.0 and 4.5 star levels that will start in college in the future.

Controlling the drop and not allowing the nose to move around will help his punting develop as well. He had an impressive charting phase on field goals with 7 made during the event.

He hits a good “A” ball, he needs to now refine his skills in order for his “A” ball to show up more often. If he can improve his ball striking skills, he has a good chance to move up in the rankings. It’s still too early to tell what his full potential is but with normal athletic improvement and technical refinement he should have a bright future as a specialist.

If he can improve his ball striking skills, he has a good chance to move up in the rankings. It’s still too early to tell what his full potential is but with normal athletic improvement and technical refinement he should have a bright future as a specialist.

He should be able to improve and become a successful specialist.

He has worked hard at improving his technique and his punting is becoming consistent. His hands are consistent and he drops the ball well. Increasing leg strength is key for his continued development in all three disciplines. His tempo on kickoffs has improved and his ball striking has become more consistent. Increasing command of his ball/foot contact should help his field goals make improvement. Mitchell has attended the Winter Showcase Camp in December of 2017. He showed flashes of consistency and repeatability , but needs to continue to become more explosive to continue to progress and move up in the rankings. Mitchell needs more practice and refinement on his technique. With some refinement he will see significant changes in his ball striking.

His technique is solid, increasing his explosiveness will be key for his his continued development in both field goals and kickoffs. His best ball during kickoffs was a 50 yard 2.65 second ball. Striking up and through the ball should help improve his ball flight on his kickoffs. Creating more command of his drop will help continue to improve his ball striking on his punts.

Working on sticking the plant and firing the opposite hip through on his swing should help develop more power on his kicks. He showed flashes of solid ball contact during field goals. Increasing command of his hips through contact will be key for his continued improvement on field goals.
